Surgeon Destroys Myth: ‘If Masks Don’t Work, Why Do Surgeons Wear Them?’
clear

A response to people who use the classic fallacious argument, “Well, if masks don’t work, then why do surgeons wear them?”

I’m a surgeon who has performed more than 10,000 surgical procedures wearing a surgical mask. However, that fact alone doesn’t really qualify me as an expert on the matter. More importantly, I am a former editor of a medical journal.

I know how to read the medical literature, distinguish good science from bad, and fact from fiction. Believe me, the medical literature is filled with bad fiction masquerading as medical science. It is very easy to be deceived by bad science.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, I’ve read hundreds of studies on the science of medical masks. Based on extensive review and analysis, there is no question in my mind that healthy people should not be wearing surgical or cloth masks. Nor should we be recommending universal masking of all members of the population. That recommendation is not supported by the highest level of scientific evidence.

First, let’s be clear. The premise that surgeons wearing masks serves as evidence that “masks must work to prevent viral transmission” is a logical fallacy that I would classify as an argument of false equivalence, or comparing “apples to oranges.”

Although surgeons do wear masks to prevent their respiratory droplets from contaminating the surgical field and the exposed internal tissues of our surgical patients, that is about as far as the analogy extends. Obviously, surgeons cannot “socially distance” from their surgical patients (unless we use robotic surgical devices, in which case, I would definitely not wear a mask).

The CoVID-19 pandemic is about viral transmission. Surgical and cloth masks do nothing to prevent viral transmission. We should all realize by now that face masks have never been shown to prevent or protect against viral transmission. Which is exactly why they have never been recommended for use during the seasonal flu outbreak, epidemics, or previous pandemics.

The failure of the scientific literature to support medical masks for influenza and all other viruses is also why Fauci, the U.S. Surgeon General, the CDC, WHO, and pretty much every infectious disease expert stated that wearing masks won’t prevent transmission of SARS CoV-2. Although the public health “authorities” flipped, flopped, and later changed their recommendations, the science did not change, nor did new science appear that supported the wearing of masks in public. In fact, the most recent systemic analysis once again confirms that masks are ineffective in preventing the transmission of viruses like CoVID-19.

If a surgeon were sick, especially with a viral infection, they would not perform surgery as they know the virus would NOT be stopped by their surgical mask.

Another area of “false equivalence” has to do with the environment in which the masks are worn. The environments in which surgeons wear masks minimize the adverse effects surgical masks have on their wearers.

Unlike the public wearing masks in the community, surgeons work in sterile surgical suites equipped with heavy duty air exchange systems that maintain positive pressures, exchange and filter the room air at a very high level, and increase the oxygen content of the room air. These conditions limit the negative effects of masks on the surgeon and operating room staff. And yet despite these extreme climate control conditions, clinical studies demonstrate the negative effects (lowering arterial oxygen and carbon dioxide re-breathing) of surgical masks on surgeon physiology and performance.

Surgeons and operating room personnel are well trained, experienced, and meticulous about maintaining sterility. We only wear fresh sterile masks. We don the mask in a sterile fashion. We wear the mask for short periods of time and change it out at the first signs of the excessive moisture build-up that we know degrades mask effectiveness and increases their negative effects. Surgeons NEVER re-use surgical masks, nor do we ever wear cloth masks.

The public is being told to wear masks for which they have not been trained in the proper techniques. As a result, they are mishandling, frequently touching, and constantly reusing masks in a way that increase contamination and are more likely than not to increase transmission of disease.

Just go watch people at the grocery story or Walmart and tell me what you think about the effectiveness of masks in the community.

If you can’t help but believe and trust the weak retrospective observational studies and confused public health “authorities” lying to you about the benefits and completely ignoring the risks of medical masks, then you should at least reject the illogical anti-science recommendation to block only 2 of the 3 ports of entry for viral diseases. Masks only cover the mouth and nose. They do not protect the eyes.

17 Bible Verses About Thanksgiving
clear

November 20, 2020

This year, as we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, let's remember to celebrate the greatest gift of all - salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Here are 17 Bible verses to help you reflect on the abundant blessings of God.

Please note that all Bible verses are from the NIV unless otherwise noted.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:16-18

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

PSALM 103:1-4

Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all His benefits - who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion.

COLOSSIANS 2:6-7 (NKJV)

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

ISAIAH 12:4-5 (NASB)

And on that day you will say, "Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; make them remember that His name is exalted." Praise the LORD in song, for He has done glorious things; let this be known throughout the earth.

JAMES 1:17

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

1 CHRONICLES 16:34 (ESV)

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!

HEBREWS 12:28

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our "God is a consuming fire."

PSALM 95:1-5 (NKJV)

Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth' the heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land.

PHILIPPIANS 4:4-7

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

PSALM 118:24 (ESV)

This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

COLOSSIANS 3:15-17

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

1 CHRONICLES 29:13 (NKJV)

"Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name."

EPHESIANS 5:18-20 (NASB)

... but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your hearts to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to our God and Father.

PSALM 107:1-3 (ESV)

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever! Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from trouble and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.

HEBREWS 13:15

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that openly profess His name.

PSALM 119:1-8

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.

Blessed are those who keep His statutes and seek Him with all their heart - they do no wrong but follow His ways.

You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed. Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees! Then I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands.

I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws. I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.

2 CORINTHIANS 9:15

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

What happens if Tennessee's law on the teaching of race is violated? New rule spells out the consequences
clear

Meghan Mangrum

Nashville Tennessean November 22, 2021

Tennessee has finally laid out the consequences for schools or teachers found to be teaching certain topics regarding race and gender prohibited by a new state law.

Education Commissioner Penny Schwinn recently approved an emergency rule that spells out the financial penalties for school districts, possible employment penalties for teachers and the actual process of filing a complaint against teachers accused of teaching prohibited concepts.

The rule was amended after a 10-day public comment period in August and in response to more than 900 public comments and other feedback.

Only current Tennessee students, parents or district employees can file official complaints per the emergency rule. They have 45 days, increased from 30 under the first draft, from the date of the incident to do so.

Critical race theory:Tennessee Education Department releases guidance for schools navigating around new critical race theory law

Local school districts and charter schools are charged with first investigating an allegation as they are "are best positioned to choose which textbooks and instructional materials meet the needs of their students, educators, and community," according to the rule.

Local districts are also tasked with determining appropriate "disciplinary action" against a teacher found to have violated the new state law, which could include termination of employment. The new rule also leaves room for the State Board of Education to potentially revoke an educator's teaching license.

Tennessee lawmakers passed a law in May that allows the state schools chief to withhold funds from schools and districts where teachers promote certain concepts about race, white privilege, systemic racism, and other social issues that GOP lawmakers believe are cynical and divisive.

Tennessee was one of the first states this year to target critical race theory, amid national outrage over alleged indoctrination inside K-12 public schools

Though Tennessee law doesn't specify critical race theory, Republican lawmakers have pointed to the theory — which is typically only taught in colleges and law schools — as a reason for the new legislation.

The 14 concepts that teachers are prohibited from discussing include: the idea that one race bears responsibility for past actions against another; that the United States is fundamentally racist; or that a person is inherently privileged or oppressive due to their race.

Some Tennesseans worry that white students are being blamed for dark parts of the country's history, while those opposed to the legislation worry that lawmakers are attempting to "whitewash" history and censor educators

TBI Sting Nets a Dozen Alleged Human Traffickers in Chattanooga
clear

 Morgan Nicole Veysey

Eleven men were arrested in Chattanooga for seeking illicit sex from minors, and one woman was charged with promoting prostitution, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) announced Wednesday.

The arrests were made during a two-day undercover Human Trafficking Operation run by Chattanooga Police, the TBI, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Tennessee Human Trafficking Task Force.

In a statement Wednesday, TBI described the sting:

Over a two-day period beginning November 10th, as part of an undercover investigation aimed at addressing human trafficking in the East Tennessee area, undercover officers placed several decoy advertisements on websites known to be linked to prostitution and commercial sex. The focus of the operation was to identify individuals seeking to engage in commercial sex acts with minors. As a result of the operation, agents and detectives arrested 11 men and one female, and booked them into the Hamilton County Jail.

Out of the twelve arrested, eight were from Tennessee, one was from Illinois, and three were from Georgia.

The TBI also reported that during the operation, one woman was able to receive help from services offered by Willowbend Farms, a non-profit program that works with survivors of human trafficking, and was on-site during the operation.

Aiming to stem the human trafficking crisis in the United States, the TBI created ItHasToStop. The program works to advise residents of Tennessee to notice signs of sex trafficking and offers resources for those who want to help end human trafficking in the state.

The website offers a list of warning signs for both sex and labor trafficking.

Some of the warning signs for sex trafficking listed are:

  • Branded or marked with a tattoo, such as a man’s name, a symbol of money, or a barcode.
  • Dressed in a provocative manner or in the same clothes, regardless of weather or circumstance.
  • Has an unexplained, sudden increase in money, clothing, or possessions like jewelry without explanation.
  • Has a number of hotel keys or key cards.
  • Claims to be an adult, though their appearance suggests adolescence.
  • Talks about an older boyfriend or sex with an older man.
  • Accompanied by someone who seems to control their every move.
  • Seems scripted in the way they speak.

Federal Appeals Court Orders Biden Not to Enforce Vaccine Mandate for Private Firms

Legal rebuke: Federal appeals court orders Biden not to enforce 'fatally flawed' vaccine mandate

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals says mandate on private firms "threatens to substantially burden the liberty interests of reluctant individual recipients put to a choice between their job and their jab."

by Colton Salaz

Reaffirming an earlier order, a federal appeals court on Friday evening ordered President Joe Biden's administration not to enforce its COVID-19 vaccine mandate for companies with more than 100 employees.

In its ruling, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals called the mandate "fatally flawed," while ordering the U.S. Labor Department's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to "take no steps to implement or enforce the Mandate until further court order."

According to Reuters, the White House has not yet responded to the ruling.

The Pelican Institute and Chicago-based Liberty Justice Center are representing businessman Brandon Trosclair, who owns 15 grocery stores in Louisiana and Mississippi, employing nearly 500 people. The groups hailed the decision.

"The Fifth Circuit's decision to put a stop to the Biden Administration's illegal vaccine mandate is a huge win for liberty and cements the reality that this mandate is an overreach by the federal government that would cause irreversible damage to American businesses and workers," said Sarah Harbison, general counsel at the Louisiana-based Pelican Institute for Public Policy.

Under Biden's direction, OSHA last week released details of the vaccine mandate, which seeks to require private employers with 100 or more workers to provide proof they are vaccinated against COVID-19 or submit to weekly testing. The mandate, which could affect an estimated 74 million American workers, includes a Jan. 4 deadline for vaccination.

The policy also would impose nearly $14,000 in fines per employee if businesses are caught letting their workers skirt the mandate.

"Today's ruling marks a tremendous success because the court recognizes how this mandate would impair our liberty and infringe on our constitutional rights," Trosclair said in a statement provided by Liberty Justice Center. "I am proud to be in this fight on behalf of not just my employees, but all Americans. It's wrong for the federal government to order me to interfere in the private medical decisions of my team members or to impose insurmountable costs on my businesses."

The same court last Saturday issued a temporary stay on the private sector vaccine mandate, citing "grave" constitutional concerns. In it's Friday's ruling, a three judge panel of the court added to its concerns.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who led the challenge against the mandate, applauded the court on Twitter.

"Citing Texas's 'compelling argument[s],' the 5th Circuit has delayed OSHA's unconstitutional and illegal private-business vaccine mandate. WE WON!" Paxton tweeted. "Litigation will continue, but this is a massive victory for Texas and for FREEDOM from Biden's tyranny and lawlessness."

"The Mandate threatens to substantially burden the liberty interests of reluctant individual recipients put to a choice between their job(s) and their jab(s)," the panel wrote.

The court also said "occupational safety administrations do not make health policy," and it ordered that the private sector mandate "remains stayed pending adequate judicial review of the petitioners’ underlying motions for a permanent injunction. In addition, it is further ordered that OSHA take no steps to implement or enforce the Mandate until further court order."

Other lawsuits also are pending.

An 11-state coalition consisting of Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Iowa, Montana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming filed a lawsuit last week in the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals against OSHA

Tennessee Christian School Teaches God Made Only Males and Females, Infuriating Shelby County Commissioner and LGBTQ Activists
clear

 Chris Butler

A private Christian school in West Tennessee has triggered LGBTQ activists as well as Shelby County Commissioner Tami Sawyer into an angry frenzy.

Officials at Briarcrest Christian School, in Eads, held a training session for parents and students about how to respond Biblically to gender theory. A flyer for the event, which school officials held November 9, asked participants to “look into the craziness our culture is throwing at our kids.”

“When Superman is rewritten to be a homosexual, when parents allow children to choose their genders, and some schools are embracing students for being courageous and ‘coming out’ and considering transitioning…how do you respond Biblically?”

Sawyer, upon seeing the flyer, tweeted about the event and expressed strong disapproval.

“There has to be a reckoning with these institutions on the oppression they uphold and the gates they keep. @BriarcrestHs once educated their students that segregation was God’s will and is now spreading this hateful drivel against LGBTQ children. Just be better,” Sawyer wrote.

Sawyer then tweeted that Briarcrest, as well as St. Mary’s Episcopal School in Memphis “have some deep internal work to do.”

Sawyer did not return The Tennessee Star’s request for comment.

LGBTQ activist Dylan Sandifer denounced the school during an interview with the Memphis-based WREG last week.

“To promote these kind of bigoted ideas just have no place in school. I understand that as a private school they can teach anything that they want, but that doesn’t mean that it’s right,” Sandifer reportedly said.

Briarcrest spokeswoman Beth Rooks did not answer The Star’s questions Tuesday and instead emailed a statement.

“Briarcrest is a Christian School that teaches and upholds the biblical principles found in scripture. We affirm our unity in Christ and that we are all created equal in God’s eyes. We will continue to strive to teach our students what is true and just in light of God’s word. We love people enough to tell them the truth about biblical sexuality,” Rooks wrote.

“We have a responsibility to teach students about all aspects of biblical truth, including biblical sexuality. In addition, we strive to support parents in their efforts to raise biblically literate children who learn to defend their beliefs with gentleness and respect. Furthermore, as our culture attempts to silence biblical truth, we will proclaim the hope of the Gospel.”

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee to sign COVID-19 special session omnibus bill
clear

By: Kyle Horan

Posted at 5:44 PM, Nov 10, 2021 and last updated 6:28 PM, Nov 10, 2021

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee said he will sign the special session's omnibus bill that will change how the state responds to COVID-19.

The governor released the news Wednesday. He said after reviewing the bill he had some concerns. However, he still plans to sign the bill, making it law.

The law will have a major impact on the ability of schools, businesses and local health boards to mandate masks or vaccines. Leaders in the state legislature wanted to challenge potential federal government mandates.

Gov. Lee only voiced one concern. He wants the law to allow for hospital visits for COVID-19 patients in end-of-life care.

"There is an invitation to hospitalization visitation that we need to make a correction to and we're going to look at every provision and see if there are other things we need to look at," said Lee.

The governor also defended the decision to include businesses in the bill. A group sent a letter to the legislature asking them not to restrict how they deal with COVID-19. Also, Ford representatives reached out to state lawmakers urging them not to ban mask mandates. That communication caused lawmakers to make a last-minute change to the law.

Still, Gov. Lee said he generally supports the idea behind the legislation.

"I think that most businesses don't want the intervention that was delivered first by the federal government. We had a federal government who required businesses, against their will, to require employees, against their will to make a personal health decision which is egregious overreach by the federal government. That is what's created the need to push back against that federal mandate. I think business owners understand that," he said.

The governor has until Friday to sign most of the bills. He said his office is still reviewing the other seven bills passed by the legislature.

Senate confirms radical lesbian judge appointed by Biden to top federal court
clear

The Senate confirmed Beth Robinson, a radical lesbian Vermont judge, to the federal bench, with the backing of GOP Sens. Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski.

Wed Nov 3, 2021 - 11:07 pm EDT

WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) – The Senate this week confirmed a far-left, openly lesbian judge appointed by Joe Biden to a top federal court, despite her past involvement in a lawsuit targeting a Catholic family over their pro-life beliefs.

The Senate approved the confirmation of Beth Robinson, a Vermont Supreme Court justice, to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in a 51-45 vote on Monday.

Two Republicans, Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, voted in favor of Robinson’s confirmation. Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina had joined Murkowski and Collins to advance the lesbian judge’s nomination earlier this year but voted against confirming her on Monday.

Robinson is Biden’s third nominee to the Second Circuit Court approved by the Senate in under six months. Her confirmation flipped the court to a 7-6 Democrat-appointed majority.

Liberal, Soros-backed activist groups hailed the confirmation of Robinson, the first lesbian judge on a federal district court, and Democrats’ rapid installation of Biden’s judicial nominees.

“President Biden’s laser-like focus on quickly nominating highly qualified, professionally diverse judges is paying off at the all-important courts of appeal level,” said Chris Kang, chief counsel for Demand Justice.

Robinson is known for her LGBT activism that helped spearhead legalization of same-sex “marriage” in Vermont. In 1999, she represented a group of homosexuals in a major case, Baker v. Vermont, that resulted in Vermont’s civil union law in 2000.

She later advocated for 2009 legislation that legalized homosexual “marriage” in the state while leading a pro-LGBT group, Vermont Freedom to Marry. Robinson was appointed to the Vermont Supreme Court in 2011 by Democrat Gov. Peter Shumlin, after backing Shumlin’s candidacy and serving as his general counsel.

Robinson’s attack on ‘invidious’ pro-life beliefs

During Robinson’s confirmation hearing in September, Republican senators particularly grilled her for her involvement in a lawsuit that targeted a family of pro-life, Catholic printers.

In the early 1990s, Robinson represented a Vermont woman who sued a print shop for refusing to make membership cards for a pro-abortion group, Vermont Catholics for Free Choice. The shop owners, devout Catholics, turned down the order because they said that they did not believe that Catholics could support abortion, which the Catholic Church has always condemned as murder. Robinson’s client, Linda Paquette, sued the family, the Bakers, claiming that they had illegally discriminated against her based on “creed.”

Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas pointed out that Robinson denigrated the Bakers’ faithful Catholic beliefs as “invidious” and “pernicious” in a brief supporting Paquette.

Tennessee Attorney General Sues Joe Biden over COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for Federal Contractors
clear

November 5, 2021 Chris Butler

Tennessee Attorney General Herbert Slatery announced that he and the attorneys general in Ohio and Kentucky have filed suit against the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for federal contractors.

This, according to a press release that members of Slatery’s staff emailed Thursday.

“Unless we intervene, federal contractors in Tennessee will be forced to make sense of the mandate’s many inconsistencies that require their entire workforce be vaccinated or face potential blacklisting and loss of future federal contracts,” Slatery said in the press release.

“That is simply unworkable and this lawsuit seeks to stop it.”

The lawsuit, which the attorneys general filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, asserts that the Biden administration’s mandatory vaccination requirement is unlawful and unconstitutional.

In the lawsuit, the attorneys general outline the harm they say that Biden’s mandate will cause for their respective states.

Nationwide, the Department of Labor reports that federal contractors account for approximately one-fifth of the country’s entire labor force, Slatery’s press release said.

The coalition of attorneys general argues in their suit that the potential workforce loss among federal contractors presents a significant concern for the economies of their states and could exacerbate ongoing supply-chain issues.

Biden, in September and by executive order, directed federal departments and agencies to include a clause in contracts requiring all contractors and subcontractors to adopt COVID Safety protocols.

Later that month, the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force issued guidance imposing a vaccination mandate more expansive than Biden’s executive order.

Slatery last week said that that agency’s guidance “is internally inconsistent and is at odds with actions taken elsewhere by the federal government.”

On Wednesday, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and other state officials warned that Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for federal contractors could kill several Georgia jobs and even compromise the state’s food safety.

Georgia Agriculture Secretary Gary Black said the COVID-19 pandemic proves America’s agriculture is paramount. He also spoke of cooperative agreements with the Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

“We need clarity. We need to know if food inspection will be interrupted by a presidential executive order? Is meat inspection going to be interrupted?” Black asked.

COVID-19 Event

November 2, 2021 Chris Butler

Members of the Tennessee Eagle Forum used Eventbrite to promote a forthcoming event to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic, but Eventbrite officials later removed the ad because they disapproved of the subject matter.

The event, titled “Whistleblowers: On the Deceptive Agenda Behind the COVID-19 Pandemic,” will present information about “propaganda involving PPE, respiratory protection, masks, lockdowns, vaccinations, and the weaponizing of our government agencies to implement the Great Reset.”

This, according to an email and a notice that Tennessee Eagle Forum members emailed and also published online on Monday.

“Our event ‘Whistleblowers’ featuring Tammy Clark and Kristen Meghan was de-platformed by Eventbrite due to ‘a violation of their community guidelines,’” according to the Tennessee Eagle Forum’s notice.

Eventbrite officials told the Tennessee Eagle Forum that they do not permit people to share or promote “potentially harmful misinformation.”

“As a result, your event listing has been removed and any paid orders have been refunded,” Eventbrite told the Tennessee Eagle Forum.

Tennessee Eagle Forum members said that they will refund anyone who had already purchased a ticket through Eventbrite. They also said the process may take 48 to 72 hours.

“The TN Eagle Forum Foundation is committed to hosting this event,” according to the notice.

“We firmly believe that the information presented will be powerful and persuasive in exposing the true agenda behind the politicization and weaponization of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Clark, according to the Tennessee Eagle Forum’s notice, has more than 20 years of experience in the field of occupational safety and health. She is also a court-approved subject matter expert on PPE, respiratory protection, and has worked as a legal expert witness in several court cases.

Meghan, meanwhile, has worked in the field of occupational and environmental toxicology and as a senior industrial hygienist for more than 18 years, according to the Tennessee Eagle Forum.

In their online notice on Monday, members of the Tennessee Eagle Forum said they were working to provide a new option for people to purchase tickets.
